The competition will be held at the Robert Crown Sailing Center in Annapolis which has hosted the event several times in the past, most recently in 2011. Though the weather in Annapolis in June is usually pleasant, the outdoor nature of the event makes for the possibility of unexpected weather challenges such as strong winds and rain, making the competition even more difficult.
The competition this year will have numerous challenges including: Station Keeping and Navigational; Endurance; and Payload and Collision Avoidance. We look forward to demonstrating all of the hard work that has gone into building out boat during this past year.
Stay tuned for updates on our progress and results!
